Classic medical thermometer without mercury PiC Solution – VedoEcoplus: can measure body temperature from 35.5°C to 42.0°C (tolerance ± 0.1°C from 35.5°C to 42.0°C). All PiC Solution thermometers are clinically tested and validated, being produced to the highest quality standard.
TECHNICAL DETAILS
PACKAGE CONTENTS: 1 medical glass thermometer with liquid, protective case with magnifying lens (magnifier) and reset device, instructions for use.
How to use:
- ORAL METHOD: Measurement time: min. 4 minutes, normal temperature 37 °C. Place the thermometer reservoir under the tongue and breathe through the nose to prevent the measurement from being influenced;
- RECTAL METHOD: Measurement time: min. 4 minutes, normal temperature 37.5 °C. Gently insert the thermometer reservoir into the anus, no more than 2 cm. Stop immediately if you encounter any resistance. Do not use petroleum jelly;
- AXILLARY METHOD: Measurement time: min. 4 minutes, normal temperature 36.7 °C. Make sure the armpit is dry. Then place the thermometer reservoir in the armpit and press the arm to the chest.
Cleaning method:
Cold soapy water can be used to clean this classic mercury-free thermometer before and after use. Disinfect the thermometer using a cotton swab or cloth soaked in alcohol or immerse the thermometer in a disinfectant solution (exposure/immersion time is as specified by the disinfectant manufacturer). If the thermometer breaks, the spilled liquid can be removed using a brush, cloth or cloth soaked in soapy water. The broken pieces can be disposed of as household waste.
