Pharmacological properties

  • The micronized hydrocortisone in this preparation is chemically identical to endogenous human hydrocortisone (produced naturally in the body) and is therefore a bioidentical hormone.
  • Hydrocortisone belongs to the class of substances called glucocorticoids.
  • This is a steroid hormone that acts to mediate exacerbated immune system responses and autoimmune diseases.

Warnings and precautions

The therapeutic approach must be individualized by the doctor, taking into account the severity and type of symptoms.

  • Personalized treatments can be modified depending on your state of health and compliance with the treatment.
  • Do not use more product or more often than recommended.
  • This preparation was prescribed only for the current pathology.
  • Do not use it later for another condition without the doctor's consent.
  • It is recommended, during long-term treatments, a correct and complete communication with the doctor, in order to be able to change the dose according to the evolution of the disease.
  • It is not recommended to take the preparation in case of sensitivity or allergy to the active substance.

  • If symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, abdominal cramps, stomatitis or loose stools occur, please consult your doctor.
  • Systemic effects of glucocorticosteroids may occur, especially if prescribed in high doses and for prolonged periods. Such effects may include adrenal suppression, growth retardation, low bone mineral density, cataracts, glaucoma, and a wide variety of psychiatric/behavioral manifestations.
  • Keep out of the reach of children.
  • Do not use the compounded preparation after the expiration date.
