Gastritis is inflammation of the gastric mucosa, manifesting as epigastric pain or discomfort, a feeling of fullness, and heartburn. Recurrent episodes can affect quality of life and digestion.
How does it manifest itself?

Causes and Mechanism
Gastritis can be induced by H. pylori infection, excessive use of anti-inflammatory drugs, alcohol, stress, or an irritating diet. Inflammation of the gastric mucosa reduces its ability to protect the tissue from acid, promoting lesions and discomfort.
