Warnings and precautions

The therapeutic approach must be individualized by the doctor, taking into account the severity and type of symptoms.

• Please follow the administration recommended in the prescription!
• Personalized treatments can be modified depending on your state of health and compliance with the treatment.
• Do not use more product or more often than recommended.
• This preparation was prescribed only for the current pathology.
• Do not use it later for another condition without the doctor's consent.
• The duration of treatment with ursodeoxycholic acid is tailored to the patient's clinical response.
• It is not recommended to take the preparation in case of sensitivity or allergy to the active substance.
• Inform your doctor if you are taking other treatments, for example proton pump inhibitors (e.g. omeprazole, pantoprazole, etc.) or antimotility agents.
• Keep out of the reach of children.
• Do not use the compounded preparation after the expiration date.
• The treatment may be accompanied by other medications or compounded preparations, if the doctor considers this beneficial.
• It is recommended to administer the preparation with caution in patients with renal insufficiency.
• Depending on the sensitivity of each person, severe skin reactions or other systemic symptoms may occur. If signs and symptoms suggestive of these reactions occur, it is recommended to contact a doctor immediately.
• It may increase the risk of gallstone formation, especially in patients with cholecystitis or those with existing gallstones. Doctors may consider regular monitoring of patients for possible complications.
• In patients with severely reduced liver function, UDCA doses may need to be adjusted. The doctor should carefully monitor liver function and adjust the dose accordingly.
• Inform your doctor if you are taking antacids containing aluminum hydroxide, smectite, cholestyramine, cyclosporine, ciprofloxacin, dapsone, etc. Depending on your doctor's recommendations, you may need to adjust the dosage.
• It is recommended to use oral contraceptive measures without hormones or with a low estrogen content in women of childbearing age, to avoid an increase in gallstones. The possibility of pregnancy should be excluded from the start of treatment.
• The consumption of grapefruit juice or herbal preparations containing St. John's wort is not recommended as they may influence the therapeutic action of ursodeoxycholic acid.
• Inform your doctor about other medicines or preparations you are taking, especially in the case of long-term treatments, as ursodeoxycholic acid may alter their therapeutic action and vice versa.
• The preparation does not contain preservatives or alcohol.
• The preparation does not contain gluten.
• The preparation may contain lactose. In case of intolerance, you can request the preparation without lactose.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Do not use the magistral preparation after the expiration date.
