- Chloramphenicol has a bacteriostatic effect, being active against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria such as: Staphylococcus spp, Pseudomonas Aeruginosa and Escherichia Coli.
- Locally applied anestezin is capable of diminishing or interrupting the sensitivity of the region where it is applied, which leads to the suppression of the sensation of pain.
- Zinc oxide is an antibacterial and fungistatic often used in ointments intended for the care of irritated skin (including diaper rash in babies), wounds or ulcers, which also absorbs locally formed moisture.
- Vitamin A helps re-epithelialize and soften affected areas.
- Vitamin E is used to promote wound healing and reduce scars.
- Vitamin F helps restore lipid balance in dry and wrinkled skin, providing essential fats necessary for skin nourishment and protection.
- Aloe vera is a plant recognized since ancient times for its beneficial powers, being one of the natural remedies that ensures the health of damaged, dry or cracked skin.
- Bisabolol is known for its multiple skin-repairing and soothing properties. In baby products, it is used for its soothing effect and for its anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antifungal properties.
- D-panthenol has a nourishing and emollient effect, deeply moisturizes the skin, cares for and soothes dry, cracked and irritated skin, removing the unpleasant sensation of itching, improves the protective function and elasticity of the skin, helps regenerate the epidermis and creates a feeling of smooth and soft skin.
Warnings and precautions
The therapeutic approach must be individualized by the doctor, taking into account the severity and type of symptoms.
- Please follow the administration recommended in the prescription!
- Personalized treatments can be modified depending on your state of health and compliance with the treatment.
- Do not use more product or more often than recommended.
- This preparation was prescribed only for the current pathology.
- Do not use it later for another condition without the doctor's consent.
- It is recommended, during long-term treatments, a correct and complete communication with the doctor, in order to be able to change the dose according to the evolution of the disease.
- It is not recommended to take the preparation in case of sensitivity or allergy to the active substance.
- It is recommended that the use of the preparation in children be carried out under the close supervision of an adult.
- Avoid contact with eyes or other mucous membranes.
- Excessive application should be avoided because it can lead to drying and discomfort of the treated areas.
- It is recommended to leave your baby without a diaper for a few hours each day to give the skin a chance to dry and heal. This is easier to do if you place your baby in a crib with a waterproof sheet or on an absorbent towel/blanket on the floor.
- To keep the area clean and dry, it is recommended to change diapers often, ideally every 2 hours or after each bowel movement.
- It is not recommended to use wet wipes with alcohol or perfume. It is recommended to wash the area with water, without using any other preparations.
- It is recommended to gently pat the baby's skin with a soft towel and let it dry naturally. Rubbing the skin is not recommended, as it can worsen the rash.
- It is recommended to use diapers with a larger size. Diapers that are too tight prevent air circulation and create a humid environment that is favorable for diaper rash.
- It is recommended to wash hands before and after applying this preparation.
- It is recommended to wash clothes or washable cloth diapers according to the manufacturer's instructions, the method and temperature at which they are best cleaned.
- It is not recommended to take other preparations or natural remedies unless your doctor has given his consent.
- An allergic reaction to this preparation is rare. However, if any symptoms of a reaction occur (severe rash, itching or swelling of the application area), it is necessary to seek medical attention.
- The preparation does not contain perfume, parabens and latex, and does not contain MI/MCI.
- Keep out of reach of children.
