The preparation and dispensing of the compounded treatment is done only based on a doctor's prescription. The preparation and release time is between 1 and 3 days. Cream with tretinoin 0.01% and clindamycin phosphate 2% prepared in our clean room laboratory, is used for acne rosacea, pustular acne, cystic acne, juvenile acne and comedonic acne.

Pharmacological properties

  • Tretinoin acts locally as a keratolytic agent by significantly increasing cell turnover in the cornified epithelium, including the epithelium of follicular ducts and comedones. 
  • Clindamycin is an antibiotic from the lincosamide class, used in the treatment of bacterial infections.

It is an antibiotic commonly used in topical preparations, that helps stop acne when certain bacteria on the skin get out of control. 

Topically applied antibiotic preparations are very well tolerated and have a reduced number of adverse reactions compared to other types of administration.

Warnings and precautions

The therapeutic approach must be individualized by the doctor, taking into account the severity and type of symptoms.

  • Please follow the administration recommended in the prescription!
  • Personalized treatments can be modified depending on your state of health and compliance with the treatment.
  • Do not use more product or more often than recommended.
  • This preparation was prescribed only for the current pathology.
  • Do not use it later for another condition without the doctor's consent.
  • It is recommended, during long-term treatments, a correct and complete communication with the doctor, in order to be able to change the dose according to the evolution of the disease.
  • It is not recommended to take the preparation in case of sensitivity or allergy to the active substance.
  • It is recommended to avoid exposure to the sun during treatment,
  • On dry or sensitive skin, a feeling of dryness and slight additional irritation may occur. Overapplication should be avoided. This usually subsides as the skin adapts to the treatment. 
  • Do not use other preparations containing vitamin C, retinol, acids, etc., without the consent of the doctor. It is not recommended to use products with a lot of alcohol, menthol, lemon or other astringent substances (e.g. shaving lotions or perfumes), as the skin may become further irritated, especially if you are using the tretinoin preparation for the first time. 
  • It is not recommended to use products containing benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, or anti-dandruff shampoos containing sulfur or resorcinol without your doctor's approval.
  • Depending on each person's response to treatment and individual sensitivity, your doctor may also prescribe another moisturizer or other products with a moisturizing effect to prevent excessive drying of the treated skin.
  • The preparation does not contain synthetic dyes, stabilizers, heavy metals, propylene glycol, minerals, parabens, DEA, TEA, MEA, MIT, PEG, formaldehyde, dimethicone. 
  • Keep out of the reach of children. 
  • Do not use the preparation after the expiration date.
  • It is recommended to use a product with a high sun protection factor (SPF 50+) – applied 30
    minutes before leaving the house or before sun exposure.

The preparation is kept at room temperature 15-25 degrees Celsius, away from sources of heat, humidity and light.
