Pharmacological properties
- Minoxidil – used topically has a vasodilating effect. It modifies the phases of hair growth, prolonging the anagen phase (growth phase) and shortening the telogen phase (resting phase, in which hair no longer grows). Since minoxidil is known to be a vasodilator, it is believed that it promotes blood supply to hair follicles, making them grow longer and stronger. In this way, the miniaturization of the follicle, characteristic of androgenic alopecia, is avoided or reversed.
Warnings and precautions
The therapeutic approach must be individualized by the doctor, taking into account the severity and type of symptoms.
- The preparation can only be used for external use on the scalp.
- Please follow the administration recommended in the prescription!
- Do not use more product or more often than recommended.
- It is not recommended to administer the preparation in case of sensitivity or allergy to one of the active substances.
- Personalized treatments can be modified depending on your state of health and compliance with the treatment.
- Use under occlusive dressing is not recommended.
- Avoid contact with eyes or other mucous membranes. Eye watering may occur if this preparation is applied too close to the eyes. If this occurs, rinse your eyes with plenty of water.
- It is recommended to wash hands immediately after applying this preparation.
- Do not use the preparation on irritated skin or any other infected or reddened area without the doctor's consent.
- On dry or sensitive scalps, a feeling of dryness and slight additional irritation may occur. These symptoms usually subside as the area gradually adapts to the treatment.
- It is recommended to administer it to the hair roots.
- After application, it is recommended to massage gently until the preparation is completely absorbed.
- It should be mentioned that the treatment is long-term.
- After at least 4–6 months of treatment, performed properly and consistently, results can be observed.
- In primele doua luni, este posibil ca parul sa cada mai mult, dar este un lucru normal. Acest lucru se datoreaza faptului ca multi foliculi din faza telogena (faza de repaus in care nu mai cresc) se desprind pentru a intra din nou in faza anagena – faza de crestere). Este important sa nu opriti tratamentul.
- It is recommended, during long-term treatments, a correct and complete communication with the doctor, in order to be able to change the dose according to the evolution of the disease.
- It is recommended to take monthly photographs of the scalp and hair to observe the progress of the treatment.
- In very rare cases, when the doctor's instructions are not followed, so-called facial hypertrichosis, i.e. facial hair growth, may occur. Facial hypertrichosis disappears on its own after discontinuation of treatment.
- Preparatul nu contine coloranti, parabeni, formaldehida, dimeticona sau substante clasificate ca PBT, vPvB si substante perturbatoare ale sistemului endocrin.
- Contains non-ionic surfactants derived from coconut oil.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Do not use the compounded preparation after the expiration date.
